USDA-NASS: 2018 Planting Intentions Report
What changes will the 2018 crop year bring? A first look at USDA- National Agricultural Statistics Service 2018 March Planting Intentions Report and grain stocks on hand for Arkansas and the Nation.

Presenter Eugene Young is the regional director for the USDA-NASS Delta Regional Office located in Little Rock, Arkansas which services the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Mr. Young has 28 years of experience with working at USDA-NASS and has worked in offices in Arkansas, North Carolina, and Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s of Science in Agricultural Business and a Master’s in Agricultural Economics.

Following Eugene’s presentation, State Rice Extension Agronomist, Dr. Jarrod Hardke will provide an Arkansas Rice Update and his boots on the ground perspective of USDA’s planting intentions report as it relates to Arkansas.
